How to play

1

Uno is a shedding card game for two to ten people. Everyone starts with seven cards. One card is turned face up to start the discard pile, and the remaining cards form the draw pile. On your turn you play one card that matches the color or the rank of the top card. A wild card can be played on any color, and you then name the color that must be followed.

2

If nothing in your hand matches, you draw one card. You may play that card immediately when it matches. Skip passes the next person. Reverse changes the direction of play, which in a two-player round acts like a skip. Draw Two forces the next person to take two cards and lose the turn. Wild Draw Four lets you name the new color and forces the next person to take four cards and lose the turn. When you play down to one card, say Uno. The round ends the moment someone plays their last card.

GameBoba runs this Uno in the browser. It is free, nothing is downloaded, and a guest can play without making an account. A private room is the way to sit with people you know. Quick match pairs you with someone else who is waiting. There is no computer opponent in this version, so every seat is a person.

Play with friends

To play Uno with friends, create a private room on this page. GameBoba gives you a link. Send it in a chat or read it out. Anyone with the link opens it in a browser and takes a seat. They do not need an account. A guest session is enough to play. The room stays private unless you choose a public lobby, which lets other people find it. Quick match is the other path: it pairs you with a person who is already waiting, so you do not have to send a link. The room itself is a live game, not a list of instructions.

Variants and modes

Uno takes from two to ten players. Choose the table size when you create the room. Two players is a duel. A larger table makes Skip and Reverse matter more, because they jump more people. Friends use a private link. A public room is open to anyone browsing. Quick match pairs you with one other person for a fast game. There is no solo mode and no computer opponent.
