How to play
Ludo is a race around a cross-shaped board. Two to four people each have four tokens. You roll a die and move one token that many squares, clockwise, toward your home column. A token leaves the yard only on a six. Rolling a six also gives you another roll. The first person to bring all four tokens into the home column wins.
If you land on a square occupied by one opposing token, that token goes back to its yard. A square that already holds two of your own tokens is a block, and an opponent cannot land on it. You cannot pass a block. Exact count is required to enter the home column and to finish each token. Capturing and opening the yard are the two ways the board swings, so a six is valuable and also dangerous when it leaves a token alone.
On GameBoba the board is the same game people play at a table. It is free in the browser, with no download and no account required for a guest. You choose two, three, or four seats when you create the room. The round starts when those seats are filled.

Play with friends
To play Ludo with friends, create a private room on this page. GameBoba gives you a link. Send it in a chat or read it out. Anyone with the link opens it in a browser and takes a seat. They do not need an account. A guest session is enough to play. The room stays private unless you choose a public lobby, which lets other people find it. Quick match is the other path: it pairs you with a person who is already waiting, so you do not have to send a link. The room itself is a live game, not a list of instructions.
Variants and modes
Ludo takes two, three, or four players. Pick the number when you create the room. The round waits until that many people have joined, then it starts. Two players is a head-to-head race. Three and four fill the colors of the board. A private link is how you keep those seats for friends. A public room can be discovered by other players. Quick match looks for one other person rather than filling a table of four on its own.
