How to play
Connect 4 is a two-player game on a vertical grid of seven columns and six rows. You take turns dropping a disc into a column. The disc falls to the lowest empty cell in that column. You cannot hang a disc in mid-air, and you cannot move it after it lands. A full column of six is closed.
The goal is four of your discs in a line. The line can run across, down, or on either diagonal. Turns alternate with no extra turn. The round ends as soon as four connected discs appear. If all forty-two cells fill and nobody has four in a line, the round is a draw. Watch the cell that would finish a line of three, and block it before you build your own. A move that threatens two lines at once is hard to stop. The center column sits in more winning lines than an edge.
